Andrea Bollini, Andrea Pascarelli? Researcher Pages: personalizzazioni e nuove funzionalità per l’IR dell’Università di Hong Kong
The article describes personalizations and improvements realized by CILEA for the University of Hong Kong; the new features converted the institutional repository DSpace based into a complex tool that enlarges internal and external visibility of professionalism and excellencies within the institution, and fostering collaboration between researchers at the same time. The Expert Finder system, integrated into DSpace, allows the concentration of metadata regarding an expert (personal and contact information, bibliometric indicators and information on projects) on a unique point. A completely renewed statistic management tool, and a wide use of SOLR – a powerful and innovative search engine – complete the overview on the newly developed functionalities.
