Directorship of Needham Research Institute, Cambridge
The Trustees of the Needham Research Institute (www.nri.org.uk) invite applications from suitably qualified persons for the post of Director, in succession to Professor Christopher Cullen, to take up appointment on 1 October 2013 or at a date to be agreed thereafter. The Institute is an independent organisation established by Joseph Needham, under the control of a charitable trust, and promotes research in the field of the history of science technology and medicine in East Asia, seen in its broadest social and historical context.
